Zach Bryan Phoenix Park tickets, banned items, stage times, transport, weather, and everything you need to know
The Phoenix Park is set to welcome country chart-topper Zach Bryan for a series of three gigs this weekend. Over 180,000 fans expected to flock to the park for his sold-out shows. The Oklahoma native, known for his raw, poetic songwriting and electrifying live shows, rose from posting homemade tracks on YouTube to topping the charts with hits like I Remember Everything, Pink Skies and Something in the Orange. His Phoenix Park shows - on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 of June - mark his biggest performances in Ireland yet and a major jump from playing to smaller crowds at The Helix just three years ago. The last time he performed in the capital, it was to a modest crowd of 1,500 at the DCU venue back in April 2023. Aiken Promotions, who are managing the concert, have confirmed that a robust security barrier is currently being installed around the Phoenix Park stage, as it prepares for its first large-scale concert since Ed Sheeran's performance in 2018. Here's all you need to know if you're one of the hundreds of thousands heading to the shows this weekend. When and where is it happening? Zach Bryan will be performing three gigs at Phoenix Park in Dublin on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 20-22. Are there any tickets remaining? The concerts on Friday and Saturday are completely sold out, but at the time of writing, there are a limited number of tickets available for Sunday on There are also a limited number of resale tickets available. Those attending the concert with children are encouraged to buy tickets for the designated alcohol-free family area. Each individual wishing to enter the area will require a ticket. What are the gate and stage times, and who are the supporting acts? The event is set to kick off at 6pm, with gates opening at 5pm, and wrapping up around 10.30pm. The main entrance from Phoenix Park is a 45-minute walk, so attendees should brace themselves for a lengthy stroll. Those holding early access tickets can gain entry from 4.30pm, and the concert grounds will remain open for entry until 9pm. Two support acts, including Turnpike Troubadours and Noeline Hofmann, will warm up the crowd for the country singer, with gates opening at 5pm. Early queuing will not be allowed. What transport options are there? With an anticipated 180,000 fans descending on Phoenix Park over the weekend for the concerts, significant traffic disruption is expected in the surrounding areas. Concert-goers are strongly encouraged to utilise public transport where possible, as parking will be severely limited and local access restrictions will be enforced around the park. The majority of attendees are predicted to use the Park Gate entrance, meaning roads around Parkgate Street, Conyngham Road and the North Circular Road are likely to be particularly congested, especially before and after the concerts. Gardaí have implemented a comprehensive traffic and policing plan to manage the crowds and ensure safety, but drivers should anticipate delays and consider alternative routes if travelling near Phoenix Park on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening. Concertgoers are advised to allow ample time for their journey. It's suggested to factor in at least 45 minutes to walk from public transport stops to the concert site itself. Luas: Broombridge Luas Station is approximately a 30-minute walk from Phoenix Park, while the Luas stop at Heuston Station is about 40 minutes from the park's centre, or roughly 9 minutes from the park gates at Chesterfield Avenue. Train: If you're taking the train, Heuston Station is your best option. From there, you can catch a bus from Parkgate Street, or walk-it's about 45 minutes on foot to the concert site, and around 9 minutes to the park gates. Bus: Dublin Bus services such as the 26, 38b, 39, 70, 99, C5 and C6 all serve Phoenix Park. Private coach and minibus services are also operating from various locations nationwide, and these will park inside the park. Bus Éireann is providing special services from Cork, Limerick and Galway. The Marathon Group will be running dedicated concert buses from Earlsfort Terrace and other routes that will drop you inside the park. Car: There's no parking near the venue or inside Phoenix Park itself. Gardaí will have a traffic management plan in place, and Dublin City Council will clamp or tow cars that are parked illegally. If driving is your only option, try to carpool and use park and ride facilities (such as Red Cow, M3 Parkway, Navan N51, Cheeverstown, Carrickmines or Stillorgan). If you park in a city centre car park, double-check the closing time. Drop-off/Pick-up: Drop-offs can be made at the Dublin Zoo car park, where stewards will be on hand. For pick-up, it's the same spot, but whoever's collecting you needs to be inside the park by 9.30pm. What will the weather be like? Dublin's weather this weekend will bring plenty of dry spells with sunshine, though showers are possible at times. Friday will be very warm with highest temperatures of 19 to 26 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly or variable breezes with some showers appearing in parts of Dublin. Saturday will be warm, with temperatures reaching 19 to 23 degrees, and will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells along with scattered showers-some of which could be heavy or thundery, especially coming up from the south. On Sunday, it will feel a bit fresher, with highs of 16 to 21 degrees, and similar conditions of sunshine, cloud, and a few showers in a moderate westerly breeze. What songs will Zach Bryan perform? Zach Bryan has only performed a handful of concerts so far this year, so the setlist for his Phoenix Park shows is still under wraps. However, his recent headline slot at Stagecoach Festival 2025 in April gives fans a good idea of what to expect. That set featured a mix of emotional ballads, fan favourites and big singalong moments - although setlists often vary from show to show. Here's what he played at Stagecoach 2025: Overtime Open the Gate God Speed Blue Jean Baby (First time played live) Whiskey Fever 28 Fifth of May Oklahoma Smokeshow Dawns Motorcycle Drive By Tourniquet Lawyers, Guns and Money (Warren Zevon cover - Introduced as his favorite song of all time) East Side of Sorrow '68 Fastback Oklahoma City Purple Gas (Noeline Hofmann cover - with Noeline Hofmann) If She Wants a Cowboy American Nights Pink Skies Something in the Orange The Good I'll Do Heading South Snow (Dedicated to Read Connolly's dog who is sick) I Remember Everything (with Willow Avalon) Nine Ball Hey Driver Heavy Eyes Burn, Burn, Burn Quittin' Time (Extended horns/strings intro – The Godfather theme) Encore: 30. Revival What is security like and what items are banned? For the gig, it's best to travel light and only bring the bare necessities. You're allowed a small bag (A4 size or smaller), your mobile with your pre-downloaded ticket, ID, sun cream, weather-appropriate attire (a raincoat or rain mac is suggested as brollies are not allowed), an empty 750ml plastic reusable water bottle (no metal bottles), and comfy shoes, as the trek from the entrance to the venue will take at least 45 minutes and the event is fully standing. Don't bring bags larger than A4, grub, beverages, booze, brollies, any type of chair, prams, scooters, skateboards, laptops, cooler boxes, hampers, or professional cameras (small 35mm cameras are fine). Selfie sticks, flag poles, large banners, or any item that could block views or jeopardise safety are also prohibited. The concerts at Phoenix Park in Dublin are completely cashless events. Gig-goers are advised to bring a card or digital payment method for any purchases, as cash won't be accepted. This includes transactions for merchandise, food, and drinks. Conor McGregor Ibiza punch eyewitnesses recall what they saw in nightclub
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Eyewitnesses have recalled the events that unfolded after footage emerged appearing to show Conor McGregor throwing punches inside an Ibiza nightclub. In the early hours of Tuesday, at Pacha nightclub, The Sun released footage that allegedly showed McGregor appearing to peer down to address an unidentified man in the middle of the dancefloor. Merely moments later, the 36-year-old Irishman appears to throw two punches. The partygoer hit the deck, and onlookers have since come forward to recount their version of the alleged incident. One individual - who saw the whole thing - claimed there did not appear to be any consequences for the former dual-weight UFC champion. "Clearly something's been said to annoy him and he's reacted very badly. The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away," he told The Sun. "There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor." Another said: "About five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back. It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken." They added: "About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club, because he had annoyed Conor. It was right before close anyway. There was no messing around; they just removed him. Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy." The confrontation occurred just hours after McGregor was spotted on the island with TV personality Katie Price. The UFC star was wearing red shorts, a cap, and sunglasses, and puffing on a cigar. Price shared a photo of the two on her Instagram, captioning it: "You legend," after McGregor tagged her in his own story and wrote: "Forever." Tottenham defender and Austria international Kevin Danso also posted a picture with the former dual-weight UFC champion. Following the alleged incident, McGregor posted a series of updates on social media. On X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: "You won't speak bad about my country and its people and that's ever. Vote McGregor." A few hours later, he shared several photos of himself on Instagram, including one with a group of men and another of himself underneath a photo of Al Pacino from the 1983 film Scarface. It is not the first time McGregor has lost his temper whilst partying in Ibiza. Three years ago, he stamped on a fan's hat after a fan threw it towards him asked for him to sign it while he was celebrating his 34th birthday. McGregor gave the individual a sarcastic thumbs up before throwing insults at the fan. McGregor hasn't stepped into the Octagon since his defeat to long-standing adversary Dustin Poirier back in 2021. He was due to make his UFC comeback last year against Michael Chandler, but had to pull out due to an injury sustained during training. Whether or not the Irish fighter will return to competitive action remains uncertain. However, he has dropped hints of a potential comeback by posting several training videos over recent weeks. 'Impossible' quiz question only 1% can answer despite simple solution
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Do you think you've got what it takes to crack this quiz question? It's been claimed that 99% of people fail to get the answer right, so you'll need to be a quiz master to find the correct solution. Keeping your brain in shape is just as crucial as a regular physical workout, and one of the best ways you can get a good brain training in is by challenging yourself with brainteasers and other tricky puzzles. These quick mental tests not only ramp up your cognitive function but could help fend off conditions like dementia. Plus, there's nothing quite like the buzz you get when you crack a particularly tough challenge. But be warned – this beast of a question isn't for the faint-hearted. It was served up to contestants on the ITV gameshow The 1% Club, where the trivia gets increasingly savage as the levels progress. Starting with questions 90% of people can handle, they narrow down to the terrifying 1% puzzles that are so complex that a whopping 99% of people can't get the answer right. One such question was recently shared on TikTok, in which host Lee Mack posed a devilishly difficult question to the contestants. He asked: "Which commonly used word can go in front of these words to make three new words? SING, BAG, RING." The brain-teasing challenge posed to contestants was to find a single word that could pair with sing, bag, and ring to create three separate new words. However, there's no hint at the word's length, just that it's one we're all familiar with. Are you up for the challenge? This riddle left TikTokers scratching their heads, as seen in the comment section, so don't be disheartened if the answer eludes you initially - it's designed to be a head-scratcher for 99% of us. If you'd like a hint to help you out, try starting with every possible word that could precede "bag". You might instinctively consider "handbag", yet that leads nowhere, with neither "handsing" nor "handring" making sense. If you keep at it, you might just unearth the solution. But watch out - there's a tricky aspect to this puzzle since one of the words requires a change in pronunciation. For those still engrossed in solving it, don't scroll down any further, as we're about to give you the answer! Answer The elusive correct answer is "tea", creating teasing, teabag, and tearing. Often, "tearing" throws people off, prompting puzzled comments like "What's a tea ring?" before they realise their oversight. Some TikTok users were so baffled by this puzzler that they began concocting answers from the examples given. One individual steadfastly believed "bag" was the solution, managing to form "handbag, airbag, and dirtbag" - despite going completely against what was being asked. One person was baffled, remarking: "I don't even understand the question, let alone know the answer." Another chimed in with equal confusion: "Is tea even a commonly used word?" Did you get the answer right? Let us know in the comments!

'Gang of Spanish thieves raided my hotel room and here's how I fought back'
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A mother-of-two whose hotel room was burgled while on holiday in Spain has shared how she flew into a rage when she caught the thieves red-handed – and sent them fleeing with a barrage of English expletives. Becca Farley was holidaying at the Magic Tropical Splash resort in Benidorm with her partner and two children, aged six and 11, when she discovered intruders in their room. The family, from Eastleigh, England, had forked out £2,500 for their week-long stay. On their final night, with notices around the hotel alerting guests to an impending power cut, Becca returned to the room to charge their mobiles ahead of their journey home. "As I got in the lift these two teenagers got in the lift with me and just pressed my floor level," she recounted "I honestly didn't think anything of it because there's five rooms per floor so I just assumed they were going to one of them." The teens exited the lift before her and walked directly into her room, the door of which had been propped open by a shoe. Becca added: "I thought, 'Oh s**t, I have obviously got off on the wrong floor. What a palaver. I'm going to have to wait for the lift again'. But it was the right floor. "It happened all quite quickly and they just strolled straight into my room. I then followed in after them, which in hindsight, I shouldn't have because you hear horror stories and I think it could have gone sour. But I just didn't really think and went straight into the room and shouted 'What are you doing in my room?'" One of the intruders began yelling at her in Spanish, prompting Becca to yell back: "Get the f**k out! Get the f**k out! Get the f**k out!" until they left. They came back shortly after and pounded on the door while she remained locked inside. "I was absolutely petrified," she admitted. "I know it sounds silly and people have said you should have done this, you should have locked them in the room, you should have decked them but at that moment I think it was just that invasion of privacy. "This is supposed to be your safe place when you are away, you're away from home, we don't travel all that often so we were really shaken. Then that night I did not sleep because I was flinching at every noise. If it had happened earlier on in the week we would have flown home." After informing hotel security about the incident, Becca learnt another family had suffered a similar intrusion and had passports, watches and other valuables stolen, reports the Liverpool Echo. (Image: Becca Farley/SWNS) Becca is now alerting other holidaymakers planning trips to Spain with some advice: "I would advise just to be alert. A lot of people have said we were scaremongering people not to go away. Not at all. "We will certainly go on holiday again. It's not a case of us never going abroad again, but I think it's just having that awareness that if you are a lone woman, please be careful. "I'm very lucky that I'm OK, but I think it's just a case of having your wits about you a bit more. When you go on holiday you tend to relax and become a little bit naive to these situations." She also advised securing valuables in suitcases with padlocks, saying: "Obviously keep your valuables safe. I know some people say 'Don't use the safes'. We personally lock all of ours and padlock them in our suitcases. "I think it's just a case of having your wits about you and knowing not to get comfortable in somewhere you've never been before." (Image: Becca Farley/SWNS) Despite her intention to continue travelling, Becca stated that she'll now take additional precautions. She said: "I'm considering getting a webcam that you can put in your room next time we go away. I will carry on locking my stuff away. I would never take the kids away on my own. "I certainly wouldn't have cleaners in my room ever again, not to say it definitely was them but they have access to your room. I don't know if I would feel comfortable going up to a room on my own again." Magic Tropical Splash Hotel has been contacted for comment.
